The award-winning Canadian Oil of Oregano product, containing Wild Mediterranean Origanum Minutiflorum, a rare and potent species found in the alpine regions of Turkey. Our wild oregano is certified organic by Ecocert, and steam‐distilled using traditional methods. The oil is then blended 1:3 in certified organic extra-virgin olive oil.
Every batch of our oregano oil is laboratory tested in Canada and guaranteed to contain 75-85% Carvacrol, which is the primary active ingredient responsible for many, but not all, of Oil of Oregano’s benefits. A completely natural, non-standardized product.

Origanum Minutiflorum grows wild in select alpine regions of Turkey. Ours is certified organic by Ecocert in Turkey to ensure the highest level of quality assurance possible. In Canada, the oregano oil is blended with certified organic extra virgin olive oil, and the final product is 100% certified organic by the Pacific Agricultural Certification Society of British Columbia.
All Natural, Not Standardized
We offer a very potent all-natural oregano oil, with naturally-occurring Carvacrol that ranges between 75-85% (as tested by GCMS). Effectiveness of essential oils depends on their purity – the degree to which they remain unchanged from their original state. Joy of the Mountains uses only freshly distilled pure oregano oil.
Good Manufacturing Practices
Our oregano and olive oils are manufactured at certified organic facilities which exceed GMP guidelines.
The imported raw materials are then blended in Kelowna, British Columbia (Canada) at Natures Formulae Health Products Ltd, a Health Canada Site Licensed facility.

Every batch of our olive oil is tested to ensure the highest standards of freshness and purity. Every batch of oregano oil is also tested thoroughly. We lab test prior to purchase, in Turkey and in Canada, to ensure purity and potency. Upon receipt, a sample from each barrel is tested by our independent Canadian laboratory.
